Your Smyrna Massage Therapist

My mission is to encourage selfcare, promote wellness, and to provide the highest level of quality care and customer service.

Hello! My name is Channary. If you're new to this page, welcome! I have a been a massage therapist since 2004. I graduated from Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health in Atlanta, GA. I also received my National Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2019.

Why did I choose this career?

To be honest, I think it chose me or I was always lead to it. I was a lost college kid, who dropped out my junior year after the institution I was enrolled in said I did not qualify for in-state tuition (I eventually completed my degree in 2019). I started thinking about the things that came natural to me and massage was one of them. I remember giving massages to my grandma when I was a little girl. It was a great memory because I would earn 25 cents. With that 25 cents I would run across the street to the deli store and buy penny candy. I load up on 25 pieces of Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fishes.

I then began my search for a massage school. I got my first massage in Virginia Beach. It was a requirement to get one in order to apply for the program. Life happened and I ended up moving to Atlanta and enrolled in Rising Spirit.

And the rest is history.

My speciality lies in cervical work (neck massage), but I do also enjoy giving a nice relaxing massage. Sometimes the body needs that in order to rest and heal. I incorporate a lot of NMT (trigger point therapy), in conjuction with Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and stretching. Every year I take continuing education classes to stay current and relevant to the latest techniques and data.

When I'm not in session, I spend most of my time with my son and partner, diy projects, hiking, traveling, or riding my motorcycle. I enjoy a lot of solitude, yoga, meditation.

The body is meant to move, so I work on your muscles to make you move better.
